The computer graphic arts program at the University of the Incarnate Word prepares students for careers in the video game industry. This bachelor's degree program offers students industry-standard hardware and software training to design and develop games for consoles and mobile devices. The Associate of Applied Science in Game Development-Game Programming at Northwest Vista College teaches students creative design, teamwork, project management and communication skills to work in the video game industry. Students learn about software development and computer programming as well as C++ and Java programming languages.
