The Daniels College of Business, part of the University of Denver, is ranked by Education Portal as the top hospitality management college in the United States. The school was established in 1946, but recently erected a state-of-the-art hospitality building that provides students with hands-on experience in the industry. The building has a 2,800-square-foot kitchen, a beverage management center that's decorated like a Tuscan wine cellar, a front desk operations lab and a dining hall that seats 170 people comfortably. The School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management is one of the few collegiate hospitality programs that's part of a college of business, and the school's job placement resources help students find jobs upon graduation.
