Top 10 Research Universities

Every year universities around the country are ranked on their research abilities and how effectively they utilize the resource available to them. The most recent report is from 2009 from The Center for Measuring University Performance. This organization uses a variety of data and facts when deciding how each institution will be ranked. This report includes both private and public universities.

    • The American Recovery & Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) recently awarded Duke with over $1 million in funding to go toward specific research projects. Duke University has been known for its ground-breaking research in technology and medicine for decades.
