Family Nurse Practitioner Schools

Nurse practitioners are nurses with graduates degrees who diagnose and treat health conditions, according to the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Family health nurse practitioners (FNP) provide primary care to adults and children. Nurse practitioners collaborate with physicians at hospitals, outpatient clinics and private practices in urban and rural areas. Master's degree programs in family health prepare nurse practitioners to pass the FNP certification exam.
