Many professionals working in business consider obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) to help advance their career and strengthen their knowledge.     • Washington State University (WSU) offers several options for students pursuing a Master of Business Administration degree. Students able to commit to a full-time year of study at WSU's main campus in Pullman may complete the accelerated program offered through the College of Business. A three-week orientation prepares students in the accelerated program for a busy year of courses in financial management, information systems and executive education as well as supervised corporate internships and electives. Other MBA programs at WSU include a partnership for law students attending the University of Idaho, an executive series in Spokane for those currently working, and professional MBA sessions at two branch campuses in Vancouver and the Tri-Cities. An online MBA program is also available for students seeking flexibility with 24-hour technical support.

    University of Washington

    • The University of Washington (UW), located in Seattle, offers four MBA programs of study. A full-time 21-month MBA program features day and evening classes for a total of 92 quarter credits and focuses on career advancement or transition opportunities. The Evening MBA program spans 24 to 33 months and includes classes totaling 73 credit hours taught two evenings per week. Students who are aspiring professionals may attend the Executive MBA program for 21 months to help them rise to higher ranks of leadership within their organization. Those working in the field of technology may opt for the Technology Management MBA, an 18-month program taught at UW's Kirkland campus with 67 credits of study required.

    • Located in the northwestern corner of the state in Bellingham, Western Washington University (WWU) offers students several MBA options with flexible scheduling. The MBA program at WWU exposes students to a wide range of managerial skills balanced with theory and application, and prepares graduates for leadership positions. An accelerated one-year program is available for students with an undergraduate business degree. Students without a business degree may opt for the traditional two-year MBA program. Students currently working may choose a part-time evening MBA program in Bellingham or a weekend MBA course of study offered in Everett, which is located just north of Seattle.
