Top Ten Small Colleges

Each year U.S. News and World Reports publishes a comprehensive guide to college rankings. Its criteria for categorizing a college as "small" is any school with an enrollment of less than 2,000. The list of the best small colleges includes schools across the United States with enrollments between 738 and 2,000. Most of these small colleges put the majority of their focus on undergraduate education, although a few may offer some graduate degrees as well.
