The George W. Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering at Georgia Tech, in Atlanta, offers students an interdisciplinary program in mechanical engineering. The school is the largest at Georgia Tech and provides students with many opportunities for research in such courses of study as acoustics, automation and bioengineering. Students can also learn about nuclear and radiological engineering and medical physics. Georgia Tech offers Bachelor of Science degrees not only in mechanical engineering, but also in nuclear engineering and regional engineering. Students can also pursue six Master of Science degrees and a Doctor of Philosophy.
