Zoologist & Veterinary Colleges

While zoologists primarily study animals to understand their inner workings, veterinarians examine, diagnose and treat illness and injuries in small and large animals. Prepare for careers in either of the two fields by choosing undergraduate majors in Wildlife, Veterinary Technology or Animal Science, or even by taking courses within a Pre-Veterinary Medicine path.

Students in the Veterinary Medicine program also take zoology I and II, as well as supplementary laboratory courses. Alternatively, the community college also offers a Wildlife and Fisheries Science program that comparably features coursework in zoology.
