List of Masters Programs in Electrical & Electronics Engineering

There are many university programs throughout the country that offer master's programs in the field of electrical and electronic engineering. Matriculation to a master's program is available for students who are interested in furthering their higher education and who have already obtained an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution in electronics or electrical engineering. Oftentimes, undergraduate universities offering electrical engineering will have a special continuation program that grants a master's degree as well.
  1. University of Arizona

    • The University of Arizona's department of electrical and computer engineering offers graduates of an undergrad institution the chance to specialize in the field of electrical engineering of their choice. Students at the University of Arizona have two options--one including a thesis and one not. Admission is based upon undergraduate grades as well as GRE scores. There are various research fields available, such as electromagnetics, microwaves, and antennas.

    Kansas State University

    • Kansas State University has a graduate program in the field of electrical and electronics engineering granting students who complete the program a Master of Science degree. There are three different programs--thesis, report, or coursework only--and all require a minimum of 30 hours credit. Most incoming graduate students have an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering. However, it is not required. The minimum GRE scores needed are 400 on the verbal and 600 for the quantitative section. Scholarships and grants for high-merit students or students in need of financial aid are available.
