Carson City Beauty Academy is a privately owned and operated Nevada Cosmetology school. The Academy offers degrees in Aesthetician/Esthetician and Skin Care Specialist, General Cosmetology/Cosmetologist and
Nail Technician/Specialist and Manicurist. Students receive lecture and one-on-one instruction. The pass rate for Beauty Academy students on the Nevada State Board of Cosmetology practical and written exam for 2007-2008 was 97%. Open enrollment is available to anyone 16-years-old with a high school diploma, G.E.D, or has passed the Ability to Benefit Test. Title IV Financial Aid Programs are available to those who qualify.

Euphoria Institute Henderson Campus is a Pivot Point Member School. As part of the global organization, students enjoy access to an extensive library, four course books on color, more than 100 art and design theory chapters and 200 hands-on practical exercises. Euphoria offers industry experienced instructors with experience at the student-run salon clinic. Programs include all aspects of hair design, make-up techniques, aesthetics, nail technology, and salon management. Graduates can pursue an Associates in Salon Management degree through additional online coursework.
