• The Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT) accredits the South Bay Campus of Westwood College. Westwood College has four schools: School of Business, School of Technology, School of Justice and School of Design. The interior design program curriculum consists of fine arts, architecture, drafting, model making, science, mathematics and other subjects pertaining to interior design. Students can learn through hands-on experience by working with clients, contractors and material suppliers. Students can earn their degrees in as few as three years at Westwood's South Bay Campus in Torrance.

Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising

• The interior design program at FIDM in Irvine focuses on the theoretical elements of interior design combined with practical hands-on experience to enhance students' skills as designers. At the institute students can learn architectural drafting, CAD illustration and graphic presentation skills. After completing the interior design program, students can apply for membership with well-known associations such as the American Society of Interior Designers and International Interior Design Association as well as take the exam for the National Council for Interior Design Qualification. FIDM has three other California campuses in Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego.
