The School of Dentistry at the University of Missouri-Kansas City features Bachelor of Science and Master of Science programs in dental hygiene. The Center for Advanced Dental Education at Saint Louis University provides graduate education for aspiring dentists. Graduate students choose from three areas of specialization including endodontics, periodontics and orthodontics. The DDS program requires coursework in ethics, dental therapy and TMJ disorders.
