The cosmetology program at Cosmix International is a 1000-hour course that equips students with the skills and tools necessary to succeed in a career in this field. Students receive mannequins, manicure and cosmetic kits, brushes and combs, perm rods, and more as part of the program. Courses include hair design concepts, geometric precision hair cutting, life sciences, facial applications, and makeup. There is a clinic located within the school where students have the opportunity to practice and perfect their skills on real life clients after completing mannequin evaluations. Graduates are eligible for state licensure.

The program is 1000 hours in length and combines classroom learning, mannequin work, and practical experience. Courses in the program include skincare, sterilization, hygiene, anatomy, and hair coloring. Students complete a number of written and practical evaluations to monitor skill and technique progression. Students must obtain a minimum of 80 percent in each course to be eligible to graduate from the program. Graduates are prepared to take the state licensing examination.

The cosmetology program at the Spa Tech Institute prepares students for employment in a spa or salon environment or self-employment in the field. Both daytime and evening courses are available, and the program can be completed on a full- or part-time basis. Program completion can be obtained within three months or spread over two years. Students learn about manicure and pedicure techniques, professional makeup artistry, and facial and hair care throughout the 1500-hour program. The teaching facility is 10,000 square feet and includes a clinical styling area, shampoo area, facial area, nail care area, demonstration stage areas, and a video library. Students begin the program by practicing new techniques on mannequins, and progress to clinic work on clients by the end of the program. Students must obtain a minimum grade of 75 percent in each course, and graduates are eligible for the State Board of Cosmetology examination.
