Colleges in South Carolina That Have Radiation Therapist Courses

In 2006, 21,230 people received cancer diagnoses in South Carolina and 8,853 people died from the disease. Degree programs in radiation therapy train individuals in the most common form of cancer treatment. According to eHealthMD.com, more than half of all cancer patients receive some form of radiation therapy. To meet the demand for radiation therapists, several South Carolina technical schools and community colleges offer training in radiation therapy.
