Allergist Schools

Allergist training is available in the form of a two- to three-year fellowship program at a teaching hospital. The prerequisite academic requirements necessary to become an allergist in the United States include a degree in medicine and postgraduate residency in pediatrics or internal medicine. Programs generally select applicants based upon previous academic work and postgraduate work and character and academic reference.
