RN to MSN Programs in Maryland

Typically, a bachelor's degree is necessary for admission to most Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree programs, and because of this, registered nurses (RNs) looking to pursue graduate-level education programs often first return to school to earn a bachelor's degree. In the state of Maryland, a small number of universities offer alternative MSN programs that allow nurses with a valid RN licenses but only an associate degree in the field to enroll. Sometimes called an RN to MSN bridge program, these courses of study allow nurses to complete the requirements for a nursing bachelor's and master's simultaneously.
