• Seattle Pacific University was founded in 1891 and is dedicated to providing postsecondary education rooted in the Christian gospels. As of 2010, its student population was 3,800. • Founded in 1881 by Jesuit priests, Gonzaga University is a private college dedicated to the Catholic and humanistic tradition of learning. • Located 25 miles north of Seattle, Trinity Lutheran College is a private, Christian-based liberal arts school founded in the Lutheran tradition.
