Juvenile Justice Colleges

People working in the field of Juvenile Justice continue to be in demand in America. According to the U.S. Department of Justice, more than 2.1 million juveniles were arrested for violent and non-violent crimes during 2008, and a full 15 percent of all criminal cases in U.S. courts concern juvenile defendants. Eastern Kentucky University enjoys an international reputation in Juvenile Justice. The school's campus is located in Cobin, Kentucky.

    South University

    • Founded in 1899, South University offers degrees in Science of Criminal Justice - Corrections with courses in Juvenile Justice. In addition to online study, South University has 11 campuses in eight states. The university states that the overarching focus of its online corrections program is to teach students about the various aspects of the correctional system.

    Grand Canyon University

    • Responding to high demand, Grand Canyon University began offering a Master of Science degree in Criminal Justice in Spring of 2010. Together with the bachelor's degree program, courses in Juvenile Justice are also available. Founded in 1949 on a campus in Phoenix, Arizona, Grand Canyon University now offers online study.

    Tiffin University

    • With a campus founded in 1888 in Tiffin, Ohio, Tiffin University offers both bachelor's and master's degrees in Criminal Justice Behavior and Criminal Justice Administration, with online study available.
