Bible Colleges in West Virginia

With over 1,000 chapters and more than 31,000 verses, the Bible can be an intimidating book to study. Thankfully, there are institutions of higher learning dedicated to providing the tools necessary for future pastors and lay leaders to comprehend the Bible's sacred depths. West Virgina, resting in the north/central portion of what has commonly been called, "The Bible Belt," is the home of three such Bible colleges.
  1. Why Bible College?

    • A theological degree is a specialized degree comparable to a pre-med or pre-law degree. An undergraduate degree from a Bible college prepares the student for further seminary education. This can take the form of a Master of Divinity or a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies. Many Bible colleges offer courses for those interested in being youth pastors or worship leaders, which often do not require higher degrees. These schools are also helpful for those who want nothing more than to serve their local church more effectively.
