Georgia State University is located in the heart of downtown Atlanta on 34 acres. Students can choose from 250 fields of study and work to achieve a degree from 55 accredited degree programs at bachelor's, master's, specialist and doctoral levels. Savannah State is located in the historic city of Savannah on a 173-acre campus. Students can take part in 75 student activities and organizations, including a fitness center, pool, tennis courts and soccer fields. Degree programs are offered in areas such as chemistry, biology, marine sciences, social work, history and business. For the 2010 to 2011 school year undergraduate tuition rates started at $2,812 for Georgia residents who live off campus and $5,994 for residents who live in on-campus housing. Out-of-state students will pay $11,801 for tuition if they wish to live on-campus. The financial aid office is available to help students acquire financial assistance for educational costs if needed.
