Northwest Arkansas Colleges

Northwest Arkansas, located near the states borders of Missouri and Oklahoma, is known for thriving businesses and ever-increasing economy. It features the Ozark Mountains, Civil War historical sites, rolling hills and various lakes and rivers. Many different types of colleges including universities, community colleges and technical institutes are located in the metropolitan areas of northwest Arkansas.
  1. Rogers

    • Bryan College is a technical college committed to providing high-quality career education to prepare students who pursue careers in the local area. It offers diploma and associate degree programs to enable individuals to obtain entry-level jobs. Its career training programs include medical assistant, medical office assistant, business administration, business administration and management, computer network specialist, personal trainer and exercise specialist.

      John Brown University Rogers Center is a Christian institution committed to providing Christ-centered education that encourages students to give service to others. It offers undergraduate degree completion programs and master's degree programs. The advance degree completion programs include organizational management, organizational management with health care administration emphasis and early childhood education. The master's degree programs include marriage and family therapy, business administration, ministry, school counseling and leadership and ethics.

    Springdale

    • Ecclesia College is a Christ-centered institution that strives to provide quality education by guiding students in learning and life experiences. It offers campus-based and on-line program at the associate and bachelor degree levels. Courses of study include general studies, biblical studies, business administration, music ministries, sport management, Christian leadership and communication ministries. An Associate of Biblical Studies and Bachelor of Christian Leadership is offered on-line.

      The Career Academy of Hair Design is a cosmetology institution that is committed to providing students with the necessary education and training to lead a successful career in the cosmetology field. It provides client-based education and hands-on learning experiences. It offers day and evening programs and the Springdale campus offers courses in cosmetology and manicure technician.     Fayetteville

    • The University of Arkansas is based out of Fayetteville, Arkansas. It is a public four-year institution committed to quality teaching by providing small class sizes for personalized attention. It offers almost 200 academic programs at the bachelor, master and doctoral levels. It also offers certificate programs and a variety of minors. Courses of study include accounting, information systems, art, biology, childhood education, engineering, drama, economics, marketing, computer science, nursing and sociology.

      The Fayetteville Metropolitan Campus of Webster University is a private non-profit institution that prepares students to become lifelong learners in the business and technology fields. It is committed to providing a rigorous and challenging curriculum and small class sizes to promote personal attention. It offers campus-based and on-line master's degree programs in numerous areas including business administration, management and leadership, human resources management and information technology management.

    Bentonville

    • Northwest Arkansas Community College is a public comprehensive two-year institution dedicated to serving and enhancing the surrounding community by providing lifelong learning experiences. It offers associate and certificate programs in a variety of fields such as business, graphic design, general studies, education, culinary arts, computer programming, criminal justice and nursing. It also offers programs for students intending to transfer to another institution.

      Harding University is a private Christian college that provides quality liberal arts and science education that challenges students and provides encouragement and support. It offers programs at the bachelor, master and doctoral degree levels. It also offers pre-professional programs and degree completion programs. Majors include art, child and family sciences, Christian education, computer engineering, criminal justice, economics, history, legal studies, music, nursing and vocational ministry.
