Anyone wanting to study theology in Nashville, Tennessee, can choose from several schools. Some, such as American Baptist College, Free Will Baptist Bible College and Trevecca Nazarene University, are associated with a particular denomination.     Hazelip School of Theology, Lipscomb University

    • Lipscomb University was founded in 1891. The Hazelip School of Theology at Lipscomb University offers graduate theological degrees: Doctor of Ministry in Missional and Spiritual Formation, Master of Divinity, Master of Theological Studies and Master of Arts in Christianity. The Master of Divinity is required for ordination in many religious groups and is usually a prerequisite for the Doctor of Ministry degree.
