    • The College of New Jersey is located about 45 miles away from Philadelphia. Set on 289, tree-lined acres in Ewing Township, New Jersey, the college has a total of 39 buildings, 14 residence halls, a 300-seat concert hall, 20 computer labs, and a variety of other laboratories for its nursing, science and technology students. College of New Jersey enrolled approximately 6,200 students full-time in 2010, most of which were from the state.

    Cheyney University of Philadelphia

    • Cheyney University is also about 25 miles away from Philadelphia in nearby Cheyney, Pennsylvania. Cheyney is a public university that caters to both undergraduate and graduate students. Cheyney is also one of the oldest, historically Black colleges and universities in the United States.
