How to Reference Books in a Bibliography

A bibliography is a detailed list of research sources which have been used to write a paper. College and other academic papers nearly always require a bibliography to be included at the end of the paper, citing all sources. If you are writing a paper for a college course and used books in your research, you will need to know how to reference these books in the bibliography. However, before you begin, you should check with your professor as to which reference style he prefers. The two most common styles used when writing research papers are APA and MLA.
