How to Cite the KJV Bible

Sacred texts such as the Bible often are subject to special rules for citation when listed in reference sources. For instance, the American Psychological Association does not even require that a student list common sources such as the Bible in a reference list. However, the Modern Language Association does set out specific guidelines for the proper citation of the Holy Bible. If you are adhering to MLA style guidelines, you must list the King James Version of the Holy Bible in your reference list if you use it as a source of information.
