How to Cite Scientific Journals in APA Format

Every source used in any type of academic or professional writing needs to be correctly cited. Scientific journals are no exception. Following the American Psychological Association (APA) format, scientific journals can easily be cited by following a few simple steps. Reference page citations belong on the reference page at the end of your APA format paper. In-text citations belong throughout the paper when paraphrasing or directly quoting something from the scientific journal article.
