How to Cite Investopedia in APA Style

Investopedia is a website that provides information to investors and educates consumers about financial investment. You must cite all sources that you use for information when writing a term paper in order to avoid charges of academic plagiarism. This includes Internet sources. To cite Investopedia as a reference source according to American Psychological Association format, simply follow the APA guidelines for citing a nonperiodical website.

  List the date of publication in the following format: (Year, Month Day). For example: (2011, March 15).

  List the title of the article, followed by a period. In APA style, only the first letter of the title should be capitalized. Also capitalize any proper nouns that appear in the title. For example: How to live rich for a lot less in America.
