A List of NAIA Volleyball Scholarships in Kentucky

There are nine different National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) affiliated Kentucky colleges that offer scholarships to students who play volleyball. All nine of these programs cater to women athletes. There are no NAIA volleyball scholarship opportunities available to male athletes in the state of Kentucky.
  1. Asbury University

    • Asbury University is located on a 400-acre campus in Wilmore, Kentucky, which is located near Lexington, Kentucky. The university accepts 57 percent of student applicants.

    Brescia University

    • Located in Owensboro, Kentucky, this Catholic school sits on a 9-acre campus. The Brescia women's volleyball program is one of eight scholarship programs offered by the university. The 2010 Brescia team posted a record of three wins and 24 losses.

    Campbellsville University

    • Campbellsville University is located in the small town of Campbellsville, Kentucky. Earning placement in the school is considered moderately difficult -- according to Peterson.com, just 67 percent of applicants gain admission.

    University of the Cumberlands

    • The University of the Cumberlands offers scholarships to 12 athletic programs including women's volleyball. The school is affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention and plays host to over 2,000 students. It is located in Willamsburg, Kentucky. The 2010 women's volleyball team posted a record of 15 wins and 23 losses.

    Georgetown College

    • Located in Georgetown, Kentucky, near Cincinnati, Ohio, Georgetown College admits 79 percent of applicants. This NAIA school offers scholarships to 11 athletic programs, including women's volleyball.

    Lindsey Wilson College

    • Lindsey Wilson College is located in Columbia, Kentucky. The school is of the United Methodist persuasion. The school posted a 12 win and 23 loss record in 2010, at which time the program's coach resigned.

    Mid-Continent University

    • Mid-Continent University is located in Mayfield, Kentucky. The school only offers scholarships for four NAIA athletic programs, including women's volleyball.

    Midway College

    • Midway, Kentucky plays host to the 110-acre Midway College campus. The college only supports seven NAIA athletic scholarship programs. Fortunately for volleyball players, the school does provide scholarships to female athletes who wish to participate in the program. The current Midway women's volleyball program was re-constituted in 2007 after going on hiatus for several years.

    Pikeville College

    • Pikeville College sits on a small 25-acre campus in Pikeville, Kentucky. The school has been known to admit all applicants. The 2010 Pikesville team posted a six win and 25 loss record.
