• Applicants for the University of Delaware's cheerleading scholarships must demonstrate proficiency in stunting and tumbling. Applicants must also have good character, a positive attitude and financial need.

• The University of Florida offers partial cheerleading scholarships through its athletic association. Awards are based on financial need, scholastic achievement and participation. Winners are chosen at the end of each semester.

• The University of Hawaii offers 12 to 14 full cheerleading scholarships each year. The university also offers scholarships for 50 percent of tuition through the Western Undergraduate Exchange.
