The California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists Scholarships (CAMFT) offers two scholarships of $2,500 each year for organization members that are pursuing an advanced degree in marriage and family therapy. To be eligible applicants must already have a license to practice marriage or family therapy and are working toward a master's or doctorate level degree. The CAMFT also offers the Ronald D. Lunceford Scholarship of $2,500 for a person from an under-represented ethnic population, which can be used for admission to masters or doctorate program that will qualify them to get a license in family or marriage therapy.
The National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) seeks to ease the financial burden that minority students might face when seeking a specialist degree in school psychology. One to three awards of up to $5,000 may be given out each year to applicants who are students in good standing with a 3.0 GPA, and who will be working as a school psychologist upon graduation. It is also necessary to be a member of NASP in order to apply.
