The Advancing Hispanic Excellence in Technology, Engineering, Math and Science organization was established in 2003. The nonprofit foundation offers education guidance and college initiatives for Hispanics. Hispanic students in high school or college pursuing degrees in science, technology or other math-related fields can apply for more than $500,000 in scholarship monies given every year. Scholarships pay $1,000 to $5,000. Students can apply for multiple scholarships with one application.
All awards require students to have a 3.0 GPA at the time of application and throughout the scholarship period. Undergraduate students must be enrolled in 12 or more credit hours. Graduate students must be enrolled in nine or more credit hours. Students can find a complete list of scholarships and requirements for engineering or math on the website. Applications can be downloaded, but must be submitted by mail with requested documentation.

The Hispanic College Fund and Google offer a scholarship program to students pursuing computer engineering. Individual awards are $500 to $10,000 per student. Scholarships awards can be applied to junior or senior college students. Individuals pursuing a master's or doctoral degree may also apply for funding. Applicants must be of Hispanic background and enrolled in an accredited university within the United States or Puerto Rico. A minimum 3.5 GPA is required at the time of application. Students must meet financial need guidelines. Applications can be downloaded and submitted through The Hispanic College Fund.

Great Minds in STEM promotes Science, Technology, Engineering and Math careers in undeserved communities. It and the Hispanic Engineer National Achievement Awards Corp. (HENAAC) support Hispanic students with engineering and related majors. The HENAAC Student Leadership Award offers two scholarships, one for undergraduate students and one for graduate students. Scholarships are $500 to $5000. Applicants are required to show leadership achievements in both academics and community activities. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
Scholarship recipients receive an all-expense paid trip to the HENAAC conference, where awards are given. Applications can be downloaded on the website and submitted by mail with additional requested documents.
