The HCF provides scholarship money annually under the Marriott Scholars Program. These award up to $9,000. In order to be eligible, students must have a grade point average of at least 3.0, must be of Hispanic origin, and must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States or Puerto Rico. Students must also be enrolled in a program of study related to hotel or restaurant management, or study of the culinary arts. The annual deadline for application is in February. The HCF offers scholarships that range from $500 to $10,000 to Hispanic college students who are majoring in a field related to science and technology. Relevant majors include engineering, the physical and life sciences, and mathematics. Students must have a minimum GPA 0f 3.0 in order to be eligible, and must be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States in order to qualify for the HCF STEM Majors Scholarship. Students must also demonstrate that they have a financial need for the scholarship. The annual application deadline is in February. The HCF Other Majors Scholarship provides funds to students in a variety of majors, including anthropology, english, history,law, and the humanities. Students must have a 3.0 grade point average or higher in order to be eligible, and must also be citizen or permanent resident of the United States or Puerto Rico. Other Majors Scholarships are only available to undergraduate students. The awards range from $500 to $5,000.
