The HSF Qualcomm Q Awards Scholarship is available in the amount of $5,000 to undergraduate and graduate students who have a grade-point average of at least 3.0 and are majoring in computer engineering, electrical engineering or computer science. The HSF McNamara Family Creative Arts Project Grant is available in amounts of up to $15,000 to graduate and undergraduate students who need funding to complete an art project. The Jackie Robinson Foundation makes scholarship money available to minority high school students who are planning to attend college. Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarships are awarded in amounts of up to $7,500. To be eligible, a student must be a graduating high school senior at the time of application, must be able to demonstrate financial need, must be planning to attend a four-year college or university in the United States, must be a citizen of the United States and must be able to demonstrate financial need. In addition, a student must have received a combined of score of at least 1,000 on his SAT, or a composite ACT score of 21 or better. The annual deadline for applications is March 15. The American Indian College Fund makes scholarship money available to minority students of Native American origin through its Special Scholars Program. American Indian College Fund Special Scholarships are available in varying amounts. The Anthony A. Welmas Scholarship Fund is available in the amount of $2,000 to a student who is pursuing a bachelor's or associate's degree and has a grade-point average of at least 3.0. The Nissan North America, Inc. Scholarship is available in the amount of $5,000 to a student who is pursuing a bachelor's degree and has a minimum grade-point average of 2.5. A student must provide documentation of enrollment in a federally-recognized tribe to be eligible for American Indian College Fund scholarships. The annual deadline for application is May 31.
