High school students who tower over their peers may be eligible for college scholarships from Tall Clubs International. The minimum height eligibility requirement for men is 6'2'', and for women, 5'10''. Each year, Tall Clubs International doles out their "tall" scholarships in amounts up to $1,000 to young men and women under the age of 21. Students who wish to be considered for these scholarships must first contact their local, or nearest, TCI member club.

Think you can quack like a duck? The annual Chick and Sophie Major Memorial Duck Calling Contest awards high school students who excel at duck calling. The first-place prize is $2,000, second place $1,000 and third place $750. The contest has granted high school students scholarships for the past 32 years, and has given away nearly $60,000.

We've all seen them: the prom couple wrapped in stiff, colorful duct tape. When entered into the Duct Tape Club scholarship contest, these creations can earn up to $3,000. Each year, contest judges choose the top 10 couples from all entries. These finalists are then judged by their peers, receiving votes each week until the top three are announced. The winning couple receive $3,000 each, second place $2,000 and third place $500. Runners up are awarded $500.
