Scholarships for Active Duty Spouses

The spouses of active duty military personnel have one of the world's hardest jobs. While their husbands and wives are far away, perhaps fighting under dangerous conditions, they must stay strong, maintain homes, raise children and handle the work of two people alone. To help these individuals receive an education, many colleges and organizations offer scholarships to defray the cost of attending school.

To qualify for the award, applicants must apply and be accepted to WGU, furnish prove of their military spouse's status and participate in an interview with an university official. Multiple scholarships are presented each year, based on the applicant's grades and "readiness for online study at WGU," according to the school.
