PhD Marketing Scholarships

Doctoral candidates in marketing can apply for scholarships and fellowships to assist with research costs and help offset tuition. Most Ph.D. marketing fellowships waive school tuition and provide a small stipend to students in exchange for work as a graduate assistant. Smaller scholarships are available to students in addition to these fellowships.
  1. LSU Alvin C. Burns Fellowship

    • The Department of Marketing at Louisiana State University offers the Alvin C. Burns Fellowship for doctoral students in Marketing. Applicants must have high GMAT scores and submit strong letters of recommendation. The fellowship waives tuition for the fall and spring semesters and provides a $20,000 stipend. Recipients of the fellowship are not required to perform any graduate assistant duties. In contrast, other Ph.D. candidates in Marketing at LSU are awarded $12,000 stipends and waived tuition, but are required to work as an assistant to a faculty member for 20 hours a week.
