Children's Scholarship Fund works to bring educational opportunities to children of all financial backgrounds on a national level. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come-first-served basis to children in grades kindergarten through eighth grade of families that can demonstrate their financial need. The fund does not pay all the child's tuition--a participating family is required to pay a minimum of $500 per year toward the child's tuition.

The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation's Young Scholars Program provides challenging academic opportunities for those with high grades, financial need, and a drive to succeed. Applicants must apply in the spring of seventh grade, with nearly all grades of A and no C's in the last two years of school. There is no cap on gross family income and considerations of high expenditures (such as medical bills), the number of dependents and high cost of living are taken into consideration.
