Scholarships for African American Males in Education

For African American men, sometimes the only way to higher education is a scholarship. Sports, competition or academia are common paths that one can take. With the abundance of scholarships for minority women, organizations, educational institutions and charities are taking up the mantle to provide funding for minority men. In view of the colleges and universities deficient in black male applicants and students, the rising number of incarcerated black men, scholarships can be a means of motivating African Americans who want to enter college.
