The Foundation for Enhancing Communities offers two scholarship programs to assist Pennsylvania students pursuing graduate degrees in architecture. The Central PA Architect Foundation Fund Scholarship is awarded each year in an unspecified amount to an architectural student who is a former resident of specific Pennsylvania counties. The annual deadline for application is June 30. Both Ph.D. and master's degree students are eligible. The Foundation for Enhancing Communities also administers the Joseph L. and Vivian E. Steele Architecture Scholarship, which is awarded annually in the amount of $5,000. This scholarship is limited to graduate students in a master's degree program. The College of Architecture at Lawrence Tech University offers scholarship assistance to graduate architecture majors through the Lawrence Tech Architecture Graduate Work/Study Scholarship. Lawrence Tech Architecture Graduate Work/Study Scholarships are awarded in the amount of $12,500. To be eligible, a student must be hired on a part-time basis by one of six area firms. A recipient also is required to maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher. Interested students should visit the Lawrence Tech website for more information.

The Center for Architecture Foundation awards a number of scholarships to graduate-level architecture students. The Eleanor Allwork Scholarship is available annually in amounts ranging from $7,500 to $10,000. The Center for Architecture Foundation Design Scholarship is available annually in the amount of $5,000. To be eligible, a student must be a citizen of the United States, must be attending school in New York, and must not have an undergraduate degree in architecture. The CFA Foundation also administers the Arnold W. Brunner Grant in the amount of $15,000.
