Scholarships for Unpublished Writers

You can find scholarships for unpublished writers under scholarships, writing awards, prizes in writing contests, fellowships or grants. Specific colleges and universities also may offer general scholarships for unpublished writers as part of their financial aid. You can help fund your education by using award or prize money from writing contests. Many contests accept submissions from both published and unpublished, or emerging, writers.
