How to Get the HOBET Test

Students applying for allied health programs must take the Health Occupations Basic Entrance Test (HOBET). This standardized test contains seven sections that evaluate knowledge and aptitude. The sections include math, reading comprehension, science concepts and vocabulary, written expression, test-taking skills, stress levels and learning style. The test takes about 2 1/2 hours to complete and can be administered either online, on a computer without Internet access or on paper. Registration is required before taking the test.
