How to Take the ACT Test in Utah

Each year, thousands of high school juniors and seniors take the ACT Test, hoping to make the highest possible score of 36. A national college admissions test, the ACT takes approximately three and a half hours to complete, and the test contains the following subject areas: English, mathematics, reading and science. Students in Utah can register for this test by completing an online registration form or they can elect to mail in a registration packet. High school counselors often have the registration packets in their offices, but the packets can also be requested from the ACT website.
