Visit the Association of American Medical Colleges website and click on the MCAT link.
Click on "Reserving a Seat" and on the next screen, click on the registration link.
Register for an Association of American Medical Colleges ID so that you can log in to the system. When you log in, your registration status will be listed next to your name. If you have already taken the MCAT or have registered with the AAMC system in the past, use your existing ID to log in. Do not create a new ID.
Check the accuracy of the contact information which you provided upon registering for your AAMC ID. Your name should exactly match the ID that you will present on the day of the test.
Fill out the background and consents portions of the online registration form. The consents section is where you agree to release your MCAT results to the institutions of your choice. Read and fill out this portion carefully. You must click "agree" in order to continue with the registration form.
Highlight your desired test date to select it from a pull-down menu that will appear. Do the same to choose a state or territory and country.
Click on "Find a Seat" when the menu of all available sites in that location opens. If a seat is currently open at the site you have selected, a green check mark will appear, along with a "Reserve Seat" link. Click the link to reserve your seat.
Pay your registration fee with a MasterCard or Visa. Debit cards with the MasterCard or Visa logo also may be used. Your seat will not be reserved without payment, but upon completing the payment, you will receive a confirmation page.
