For this twist on Hide and Seek, one person is "it" and is sent to go hide while the rest of the group counts to 10 or 20. Then the rest of the kids must scatter and go and look for the child. When someone finds the child, he has to squeeze into the hiding place with the child and hide as well. One by one, the children find the hiding place and try to squeeze in and hide. The goal is to avoid being the last person to find the group. The game becomes harder and sillier as more and more kids try to squeeze into a tiny space, which usually elicits a lot of giggles, giving the group away. The last person to find the group is "it" in the next round.
This version of tag adds a more complicated element to regular tag. One person is "it" and must chase the other students. When she tags someone, that person must freeze where she is. However another classmate can crawl through her legs to unfreeze her when the person who is "it" is busy chasing other people. The goal is for the person who is "it" to tag as many people as possible without them being able to unfreeze people. After five minutes, if the person isn't able to freeze everyone, let someone else be "it."
One child is designated the bear and lays down and pretends to be asleep. The rest of the class stands a short distance away holding hands. Slowly the group takes a few steps towards the bear saying, "Mr, Bear, Mr. Bear are you awake?" quietly. They continue to walk toward the bear quietly asking the question repeatedly until they get very close to the bear. Then in unison they yell loudly, "Mr. Bear, Mr. Bear are you awake?!" The bear than roars to life and tries to tag as many kids as possible as they run back to safety. Whoever he catches now becomes his "bear cubs," who help him catch more kids in the next round. The game continues until all the children have been caught.
For this game, the children sit and a circle with one child in the middle who is the "bear," with a honey pot behind him. The "honey pot" is actually a bell, shaker or anything that makes a lot of noise when you pick it up. The "bear" must close his eyes as the kids chant, "Isn't it funny how bears like honey, buzz, buzz, buzz. I wonder why he does. Go to Sleep Mr. bear, don't peep Mr. Bear!" One child sneaks up behind the bear, shakes the "honey pot and takes it back to his seat with him, hiding it behind his back. Then the students yell, "Wake up, Mr. Bear, someone has stolen your honey! The bear has three tries to guess who he thinks stole the honey, based on the direction in which he heard the object go.
