Use refrigerator magnets to show the child the letters in his name. Spell his name on the refrigerator every day and leave the name there for him to look at every time he reaches for some juice.
Hang a banner with the child's name in large letters in her room. Every day, read the child's name to her and then have her repeat the letters after you while looking at the banner.
Write out the letters of the child's name on sheets of paper. There should be one large letter on each sheet of paper. Have the child trace over the letters with a crayon while you tell her what each letter is. Then arrange the letters on the table so that they spell her name. Mix them up again and ask her to arrange them correctly.
Have a letter week, using each letter of the child's name for one day. On the day of the letter, show the child foods and items that all begin with the letter of the day.
