Ecology Camps for Kids

For children interested in learning how organisms interact with each other, ecology camps are the way to go. There are not many ecology-specific camps for kids, although there are more environment and green camps available. Kids who go to an ecology camp will have the opportunity to learn about enriched activities.
  1. University of Saskatchewan

    • University of Saskatchewan in Canada offers two ecology camps for kids. One is a summer day camp and the other is an Easter break camp that focuses specifically on endangered species. The Easter break camp is 4 days long and runs from 9 p.m. to 4 p.m. The summer day camp runs the same hours, over a four-day period, and there are 8 different and consecutive camps that focus on different units in ecology. In the program, the kids will engage on daily field trips around Saskatoon and learn about rocks, fossils, plants, insects, fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals with a focus on Saskatchewan's endangered species.

    Westchester County Ecology Camp
