Founded in 1993, this academic and artistic camp is held on the campuses of Berkeley and Stanford. It is a camp designed for students in grades four to 12. Specialized camps are offered through this program include public speaking, creative writing, video production and science camp.
Located on the grounds of University of Pennsylvania is the Julian Krinsky Pre-College camp. This camp is specifically designed for junior high and high school students who want the experience of spending the summer on a college a university campus. Campers are housed in student dorms and attend courses that include art and architecture, nursing, film production and international leadership.
Each summer, Yale opens up its campus for students who are entering grades 10 through 12 for the "Exploration Senior Program." This summer program offers teenagers a wide array of courses including expeditions, team building activities and provide them a glimpse of what university life is like at Yale University.
This program is run on two major universities in Connecticut, Wesleyan in Middletown and Sacred Heart in Fairfield. The camp is a computer program designed for kids aged seven to 17. It is best suited for individuals who want to develop their interest in video-game design, website design, programming, computer animation and other related disciplines. In addition to the academic portion of the camp, campers participate in a number of organized games or they can use the facilities of the universities that include a theatre and workout facilities.
