Making paper snowflakes is a classic seasonal activity within a classroom, and this is partly because the process attracts students of many different abilities. Because making a paper snowflake is quick and straightforward, it enables the class to experiment with variations in technique to achieve interesting and unique results. The snowflakes themselves also provide ideal decoration within the classroom during winter months.
