How to Site a Brochure in MLA

Whether your writing a paper on physics, history or even math, you can incorporate a broad range on information into your research. As such, you may find yourself citing pamphlets or brochures as a part of the information you have found during your research. To do so, you will need the author of the brochure, title and other publication information. Use an online bibliography maker to build a list of citations to copy and paste into your works cited page later.

Instructions

    • 1

List the first and last name of the brochure's author or corporate author. Write it as Last Name, First Name or simply the corporation name. For example, write "Rogers, Kirsten" or "Rogers Incorporated." Add a period after the name. If there is no author, skip this step.

    • 2

Add the brochure title. Italicize the title and add a period after the title.

    • 3

Type the name of the city where the brochure was printed. Add a colon after the city name. For example, if the brochure was published in Fairfield, Calif., simply write "Fairfield:"

    • 4

Insert the name of the publisher. The publisher's name may be the same as the corporate author or a different company. It may be located on the back of the brochure or on the inside cover. Add a comma after the publisher name, the year the brochure was published and a period after the year. This will read as "Whitaker Publishing, 2009." Add the medium of the brochure, such as "Print" to complete the citation. Your final citation will read as "Rogers, Kirsten. College Guide. Fairfield: Whitaker Publishing, 2009. Print."
