How to Make a French Numbers Puzzle

One of the best ways to learn French numbers is through puzzles. Matching games are a way to identify known number symbols to unfamiliar words. Completing puzzles helps you know if you correctly identified the numbers and what areas you need help in. One way to practice French numbers is with a color-by-number puzzle. This can be completed on any computer with any type of picture.

Instructions

- 1
  Download a picture from the Internet or draw a common picture such as a dog or flower.

  Section the picture into ten sections. Write the numbers 1 through 10 in the sections. Assign one number to each section and remember to mix them up so they are out of order.

  Write a key at the bottom of the page for each of the French numbers. For example: un= blue. This means the students color different sections with different colors.
- 4
  Print the page and distribute.
